121-135 picks- Filling everybody’s last need

121. Atlanta Hawks: Still need: C. 24 year old Spencer Hawes: Hawes isn’t great, but he is a center, and therefore a decent value at this pick. When he was a 20 year old in LA, he averaged 11.4 points per game, and looked like he was going to be a very good C. Since then, everything has gone downhill even as Hawes enters his physical prime. He still has hope, though, as long as he can avoid his injuries.
N5Y: 10+ PPG, 8+ RPG, 1+ BPG

122. Boston Celtics: Still need: SG. 31 year old Jason Richardson: J Rich should provide solid scoring, even as he ages. He is also a solid rebounder. He had a bad year last year, but it was marred by injuries, and I think he can bounce back.
N5Y: 14+ PPG, 4+ RPG, 3 APG, 1 SPG

123. Brooklyn Nets: Still need: C. 36 year old Tim Duncan: The Nets just couldn’t resist the alltime great here. While he is likely to retire in 2-3 years, he is a very smart guy and can then become a coach. Until then, he will stay very productive, even with less playing time.
N3Y: 14 PPG, 9 RPG, 3 APG, 1.5 BPG

124. Charlotte Bobcats: Still need: SF. 27 year old Trevor Ariza: Trevor Ariza will never be a great shooter, but as he enters his prime he should score more, and will always be a good rebounder and good defender. This is the kind of role player you want in the last round.
N5Y: 13 PPG, 5+ RPG, 3+ RPG, 1.5 SPG

125. Chicago Bulls: Still need: SF. 32 year old Corey Maggette: Corey Maggs is a good scorer, and a good shooter. Don’t look at his 35% shooting from the field last year and think that he is a bad shooter. His career % is 45%, which is really good. He is an injury prone player, but he is a good scorer.
N5Y: 15+ PPG, 4 RPG, 2 APG

126. Cleveland Cavaliers: Still need: PG. 19 year old Marquis Teague: Of any PG left, Teague has the most potential. He has reminded some people of Rajon Rondo, but to become Rondo he has a lot of work to do.
N5Y: 10+ PPG, 2+ RPG, 5+ APG

127. Dallas Mavericks: Still need: C. 29 year old Emeka Okafor: Okafor is really nothing special, but close to a double double at this point is pretty good.
N5Y: 10+ PPG, 9+ RPG, 1.5+ BPG

128. Denver Nuggets: Still need: SF. 21 year old Royce White: Royce White has enormous potential. He was the only person in Division 1 last year to lead his team in points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks. That’s amazing. However, he has problems. One is that he is afraid of flying, and he has an anxiety disorder. The second is that he turns the ball over way too much and he shot below .500 from the FT line. The first one has everybody worried, but I’m not all that concerned about it.
N5Y: 13+ PPG, 7+ RPG, 4+ APG, 1+ SPG, 1+ BPG

129. Detroit Pistons: Still need: PF. 32 year old Luis Scola: While Scola is 32, he has only been in the NBA for 5 years after coming from overseas. He is one of the most durable players in the NBA, having missed only 8 games in his career. He took a step back last year, but I believe he can bounce back. This is a steal at this point in the draft.
N5Y: 16+ PPG, 7+ RPG,  2 APG

130. Golden State Warriors: Still need: PF. 32 year old Lamar Odom: This is a major gamble. Odom was one of the best 6th men in the league before he was traded from the Lakers to the Mavericks last year. He was an absolute disaster in Dallas. I’m betting that he can return to form back in California.
N5Y: 12+ PPG, 8+ RPG, 3+ APG

131. Houston Rockets: Still need SF. 20 year old Perry Jones III: PJ3 has insane potential. His type of body and skill don’t come around too often. However, he often plays too soft and was medically red flagged with a hurt knee. If everything turns out right, this could be a huge steal.
N5Y: 13+ PPG, 7+ RPG, 2+ APG, 1+ SPG

132. Indiana Pacers: Still need: C. 36 year old Kevin Garnett: KG is just like Duncan, except they have the opposite personality (and hate each other). Duncan is a nice guy who I would like to be friends with, while KG is just a jerk and a whiner. While I hate KG’s personality, I respect his game.
N3Y: 15 PPG, 8 RPG, 2 APG, 1 SPG, 1 BPG

133. Los Angeles Clippers: Still need: SF. 21 year old Al-Farouq Aminu: Aminu is a promising young player who has already been in the NBA for two seasons. Last year, he rarely started a game before starting the last 13. He could well be a starter this season.
N5Y: 10+ PPG, 5+ RPG, 2+ APG, 1+ SPG

134. Los Angeles Lakers: Still need: SF. 20 year old Terrence Jones: The Lakers get incredible size here with a 6″10 SF. Jones has great potential, and he could become a Josh Smith type player.
N5Y: 13+ PPG, 7+ RPG, 2 APG, 1.5 SPG, 1.5 BPG

135. Memphis Grizzlies: Still need: PF. 31 year old David West: David West had a bad season, but I expect him to bounce back, although not back to what he used to be (with Chris Paul, he was a 20 point scorer)
N5Y: 15+ PPG, 7 RPG, 2 APG
